I realize that several of you love to mud wrestle with Rufus, which is fine, because Rufus is always up for a good roll in the mud.
The problem is that I also enjoy participating in some of the member's serious threads, although it is becoming apparent that several of you are attacking anything and everything that I say, regardless of it's validity, which tells me that you are only doing it to exact some sort of revenge for what you consider to be my attacks on you.
I have expressed on too many occasions that my banter is meant in fun, and I only flame as a response to a flame. Unfortunately I am now getting flamed, gratuitously, in every thread in which I try to participate. This is not fair to the members, and myself, who are trying to enjoy a serious discussion.
At first, I was more prone to knee jerk reactions to these attacks, but I am now aware of them and am doing whatever is necessary to keep these attacks from derailing other's threads. If killfiling you is my last resort, I have no problem using it.
I would like to think that there is a better way, so I have opened this thread for people who can't bring themselves to debate me on the merits of my arguments and would rather toss eggs.
If you find yourself in that position, please bring it to this thread, instead of spoiling other member's attempts at enjoying serious discussions with one another. I have very tough skin and can take whatever you have to dish out. I might even enjoy it, so please be considerate to the others and bring it here. Who knows. It might be a great angst reliever, and I won't take it seriously.
