Why are SO many climbers left-wing liberals?I would rather climb with someone who isn't stoned and not have to worry about my belayer having a brain fart or a flashback while I'm making an exciting clip on a microedge slab route(No wonder I'm a boulderer).Conservative climbers lets hear from ya!! :roll:

Great way to make friends in the climbing community! Believe it or not, just because you make sweeping generalizations about the life-style of liberals, doesn't mean other conservatives do the same. Ive shared bowls with pretty strong climbers. Not sure that your generalization really holds water.... But if you feel safer not climbing with people that smoke.... Than dont.
Its not an unreasonable request.
But it sure as hell isnt about some liberal/conservative thingamagig.
