If you go on the bridge on the bike path just behind the Dairy Queen on Riverside and look at the bridge pillar that is on the side away from the river you will see glued on holds up to a point where the crack in the pillar widens to be a finger crack. Anybody have first hand experience of how to climb it? There are pockets and cracks that might be protectable, but I am pretty leery of using protection on old crumbly cement. Maybe tricams? The pillar is for an actively used railroad track. My guess is that you could get arrested for trespassing if you did something that was too attention getting. However, lots of people fish down there, so the railroad must be tolerant of people in the right of way.
