I was wanting to start building a rack for climbing trad in So Ill. Mostly Draper's Bluff. I was wondering what size of cams to get, as well as the number. Also the number of draws(trad and sport).

Thanks

So. Ill. takes mostly small cam sizes about a camalot #2 and smaller, but mostly the smaller sizes. Of course there are routes that need bigger but majority are smaller and classic finger cracks like Ant Killer(5.9) 80ft. take like 8 pieces, camalot #1 and smaller. Most sport routes in so. ill. are no longer than 8 bolts. so 10 quick draws would do fine(2 for the anchor).

So would you say 1 set of dmm cams, #3-9 rockcentrics, and 1 set of stoppers would be fine except for the big stuff. Are aliens or the equivalent useful?
