I know there have been topics on this before, but I'm not too good at searching through threads and dont have the time. I was wondering what people use for their feet when slacking in cold weather? I have heard the idea of using surf booties, but wondered what others did. I like slacking in bare feet so i need something that will be similar, so suggestions like wear shoes wont help. Thanks.

seal skins, they are waterproof neoprene booties designed for cold water wading in canyoneering, or if its dry out, good wool socks

Get two chalk pots for each end of the line and put some handwarmers in them. Stick your feet in them before you start and then dip 'em back in when you're done.
