I'm pretty sure she meant boxer-briefs too. At least that's what I thought of.
I'm boxer breifs all the way. All cotton for everyday and gym climbing. UIsually when I'm backpacking or going on long trips I'll take some synthetic pairs (because of that swamp-ass factor).
I think the boxer briefs are a must have for backpacking because chaffing can ruin a trip and you look like a 'challenged' person when you try to walk with your legs apart. haha
