Has anyone ever put up a route on the rotten basalt of Mt. Tom in Holyoke, MA? If the rain holds up I'll be there tomorrow morning... david

The outcrops are largely mank, terrible quality. After scrambling up a lawn-chair and broken bottle filled gulley I set up an anchor with gear and was rained off. Too bad because the cliff's north side has lots of towers & spires too. David

How was the climb at Mt. Tom? How do you get there? Just moved up here, looking for good partner. Alan
