They may not look the same, but every childs personality starts to grow at a very young age, when they are always around their Mom. :shock: Sorry, but the truth sucks some times.
Been married three times and three times it came true. When I started getting serious with the girls, someone told me to check out the girls mom cause that's basically what she will turn into... but that can be a good thing!

My wife is the opposite of her mother in almost every way, otherwise I would have never married her. Like all generalizations, it is based on some truth :wink: :idea:
I'm not like my dad at all either, growing up I remember thinking "I will never be like him". I hit a few bumps along the way, but turned out ok, that's what my shrink tells me anyways :lol:

Not "just like" maybe, but the similarities are unavoidable. Kids learn from their role models. For girls, mom is the female they tend to spend the most time with so they are bound to pick up certain traits.
It's possible to avoid picking up traits you consider undesireabl but it requires telling someone to warn you if you start to exhibit them. Probably repeatedly.
My wife is very much like her mother in many ways, very much different in others. The diferences were in many cases hard won.
