I am looking at spending a long while in the valley and I was wondering what some people out there do to avoid the rangers and the Limits that they have put on length of stay.....Anyone that could give me a little insight or some info it would be greatly appreciated...

My initial response is that limits have been in effect for a long time. They have recently started enforceing it though. My second would be that it is not so good to posts that info on a public forum where the rangers could read. I would address this in a little more controled way.

grow a brain and figure it out for yourself. number one, its not that hard to avoid the stay limits; number two, you live flippin close- don't fuck things up for those of us who have to take a month off of work to enjoy the valley.

I have no problem with you posting this, unlike the sallyass who posted above me. If the rangers read RC.com, FUCK YOU RANGERS. That said, I dont see how staying in Yosemite for a month could be a problem. Stay at one campsite for two weeks and another for two weeks. If you get the boot, there are plenty of places to stay just outside of the park where you do not have to pay.

You know. If you want to stay longer then what you can do is always just get an extended pass. If you talk to guys at the main station, I'm sure you can get an extended pass. Just look into it.

Yosemite is washed up and the climbing sucks. You won't want to stay there more than a week anyway.
