What was the format? oh well...... Eric 30 Southern Oregon gainfully employed. I swear. Trad--F**k yes. 5.9, unless there's extenuating circumstances (like always in W. Oregon) Sport--Yes. 5.11, if we've toproped it already, and you triple-dog-dare me. And offer to buy beer. Aid--Just starting. Bolt ladders are easy. got a clean-aid project list and the gear! Factoid....... Once, I reached out and caught a ball that had been thrown at my head, with no knowledge that the throwing had even occurred. You must become one with the ball..... Anyhow, Lady's PRIMROSE harness kit? I don't remember what we paid, but my wife just purchased it from gearexpress.com, which is usually about 10% (or more) cheaper than most online places. So we received it, and it looks good. Black diamond harnesses, in general, are very solid, and are as comfortable as a harness needs to be. (mine is comfortable....don't know about other people). The gear loops are a stiff (durable) plastic that hangs away from the harness. I imagine some people love them, but I prefer the other variety, which is like reinforced cord that hangs closer to the harness. No real reason. In any case, you need the carabiner, and belay device one way or another, and the black diamond ATC belay device is simple and reliable. The carabiner they give you is a good, large one. Chalk? Sure, why not? I don't use it...but now that there's a bag lying around the house, may as well start, right? So, check the price for the same package at REI.com and gearexpress.com, and you should be good to go...........
