it's a little dirty from the scanning process, but let me know what you think. It's heading back from the summit of Capital Peak on the knife edge.

A scene with a lot of possibilities, but to make a real killer shot, there are some things that might be improved. Most eyecatching: the picture is rather blue. You can improve that using colorbalancing tools in your scanning process or in photoshop. Second one: it's a pitty that the climber is hidden against the background (same colour). If you can make him standing out (show him over the ridge, or use colourful clothing, ....), that might improve the shot.
Just my 2 eurocents.

I posted a similar photo of a ridge with the climber shot from behind... you might want to check that thread as I think some of the comments I got would also apply to you.

It seems like you're missing the red channel on your scanner. You got greens and blues but no reds. Also the scan looks poor, so you may have difficulty to work on the photo IMHO. You may not have enough info and too much contrast on the original photo to have details to extract.

The original is a slide and i think it is a little bit better balance wise. I am not a big fan of scanning stuff, so i have a digital now. Thanks for the input though.
