very nice... I would clean specks in the sky. There are also some compression artifacts, you should submit as supersize, imho. I usually like the belayer/spotter in the pictures, but not in this case. We cannot see him clearly, and dark and blurry.... I would have prefered lonely climber in this case... The image also can use some little pop maybe....

Few things I don't like: - The backlit faceless climber... Too much to make out anthing of him, not enough to abstract him completely (i.e. you can almost see the face). That would also have been better to have him stand out in front of the lighter color rock... - The softness on the bottom left that seems unatural to me with regards to where it should be from DOF. - The blend sky. But that's a crapshoot to get clouds and texture there onless you start pasting custom skies in PS. Maybe buy and try a polarizing filter. The lighting is nice though...

IHMO the climber is either under or overexposed. underexposed if you want detail and overexposed if you just want the outline. and like melekzek said, clean the specks on in the sky. i like the shiny rock though. is it really that polished??

Yes, it really is that polished. The rock is like glass. I think it's what's called "mammoth rub."

I like the photo, definitely clean up the sky, it might also be nice to see the shadow of the climbers back leg as well
