Hi. I am a 24 year old female looking for partners for either the Gunks, or Cathedral and Whitehorse in NH. Id also love to find other climbers in this area to climb at Rose Ledges, Sun Bowl, Mormon Hollow, Chapel Ledge, or Crow Hill.
I climb up to an 5.8 (A 5.7 if Im at the Gunks).
I dont lead trad, but I am a safe belayer, and love to go out and follow climbs.
Usually only available on weekends because Im a teacher. Summer will be free though.

hey ursula
i live in western ma and we frequent the local crags and boulders alot. basically traing for the big stout ruts on the the walls you had mentioned in NH and NY. most of our focus goes towards NY on the weekends though. the gunks is def where it is at, and dont worry about your climbing grade we usually just climb for fun.
oh and if your feeling up to it in a couple months after we graduate from UMass, there is currently two of us going to yosemite and we need a third for efficiency on the wall.
oh and im sure all the girlies in our crew would love to have another female, they are always chirpin how there isnt ever enough of yall.
then it will be up to you on developing relationships with allthe great people we know at the rocks, primarily the wonderful people at farley we boulder with(uknow who you are)...

Hey Ursula--I live right up the road from you in Northampton, and am a regular at all of the crags you listed, so it's possible that we've crossed paths at some point. I'm likely to be climbing at Sunbowl tommorrow--Saturday-- with a few folks, probalbly from 11 AM to 3 or 4 PM, assuming that it's as sunny as the weather forecast is saying. You, and anyone else who stumbles across this post, are welcome to join the fun. Just let me know, so I can let you know if our plans change. Grant

I'm a CT female looking for some climbing. I'm a beginner, tho, but have all the starter gear. Northhampton is only 50 mins away. I'd like to get out there with some cool new people.

I'm a 22 year old female student living in Amherst. I'm always on the lookout for new climbers. I climb in your neighborhood (Rose, Crow Hill, Mormon, occasional trips to Gunks, Rumney) and at about your level. I take afternoon weekday trips to Rose when the weather agrees. My wife (28) and I (29) moved to Haverhill a little over a year ago. After taking last year off, we are looking for people to start climbing with again. Weekends for us as we both work. Anyone willing to show us around the area and get some climbs in? :)

Hi! This looks like the most recent search for partners. I'm looking to climb @2 weekends a month. I'm a long time novice to climbing; started and stopped and started all over again for the last 4/5 years. I've climbed indoors a bunch this winter and am hoping to keep the momentum going even though my partner has left me. I'm climbing 5.8s indoors. Let me know of any possible trips. Thanks!

I'll jump in on this thread too. I'm 26, live and work on the south shore and go to school in Medford. I've been climbing for ~7 years on and off and can climb 5.9s usually pretty decently. None of my climbing buddies really share the love, so they're pretty unreliable. I'd like to find someone who's interested in getting a few hours of climbing in each week as much as possible. I like going to the Quincy quarries when the weather's nice, but I don't mind going to the Everett rock gym when time or weather demands.
I top rope now, but am really interested in getting into trad.
