Ray, have fun. dont expect much, it is a way better ski than a climb. Think kicking 45 degree steps with a 50 foot 5.4 headwall towards the top. (there was a bomber bootpack previously) The buttress skiers right of the snake couloir looks like an interesting ascent. Scott

Have fun! I would recommnd the butress skiers right of the snake couloir. The snake is definantly a better ski descent than a climb this time of year. Right now it is a step kicking (not really, bomber bootpack is in)affair with a short 5.4 headwall to be negotiated. A cool link up would be climb the aforementioned buttress EARLY and descend the snake via skis. Scott

scott, yeah got plans to climb that a little later in the season. the snowpack is great right now for some couloir climbs and i need to get in shape for a trip to alaska.
