I could never get a "1st come, 1st serve" campsite inside the park during the climbing season, Oct-Mar for a sat night. How about around this time, month of May, are there more sites open up when the thermo rises? I'd rather not stay in indiancove or get a group site for 4 people. Thanks

Your odds are good if you show up and look for a site in the morning rather than evening. Even during peak season, you can usually wrangle a site on Saturday morning.

Seeing how it's going to be like 90 or at least close to it this weekend I don't think it will be as crowded as it has been for the past few months. Even during the regular season I've always been able to get a site somewhere. I don't think you'll have a problem finding a site this time of year.
