In reply to: but rather for the fact that they are re-inventing climbing the last time climbing got "reinvented" -- both free and aid -- was 1964 through 1968. with a small tip of the hat to SoCal 1973 - 1976. clue up, kid.

why are so many people saying this is a dumb thread and that we are wasting our time, yet they are posting on the very same thread as the rest of us...and i like to dick around on this site after i climb, good way to keep the day going without getting down to what you really need to do...

huh lets see dean i a badass but sharma has more natural endurance than probably anyone in the world and he is obviously crzy strong( realization, +V15/16) so i think that if sharma cared in the least about being known and climbed for grades he would destroy potter even on trad, hands down sharma. I cant beleive so many people chose potter sharma is obviously strong, sigh*tradies*

Sharma hangs out in places like Thailand and Arkansas where it's WARM. I'd rather do that than freeze my arse off in Patagonia.

Yes, 'tis a silly thread. Sharma. Neither is a "better" climber--but Sharma just seems to be enjoying himself more. And, I'll take difficulty over danger, any day.

I look at this maybe from an odd point of view, which video is more entertaining to you, Masters of Stone 5 or dosage 3? for me its MOS5 but for my dear little brother its Dosage, but perhaps I will enjoy Dosage 5 more than MOS5, but then again i've never seen MOS3, mabye I would like that equally to Dosage 3 :? would I then care for each climber equally? hmmm... And does that make me a bad person?hmmm... :? :?

a compelling truth is just above, it all comes down to which video you like the best...
