I would answer if I actually knew my blood type, but I don't.
It's not exactly the type of thing you really need to know unless you are in the hospital.

Anybody else donate blood or platelets on a regular basis. To the red cross (or similar). Just curious. I got a couple of pints in an emergency once. Now I feel I ought to return the favor. What else can you routinely do that truly saves lives.
