To those interested in picking up used gear at a great price, I have decided to sell my climbing gear. It is used, but in good condition (see for yourself—there are pictures at the web page referenced below). For those of you already climbing, this could be a great way to pick up "bail" gear. For college students trying to acquire trad and ice gear, this could be the affordable option. Items being sold: Traditional Climbing Trango Spring Loaded Camming Devices One set of Black Diamond Stoppers Spectra quick draws by ABC Trango D-shaped wire carabiners Various screw-lock carabiners Spectra slings by ABC Padded REI gear sling Four foot Black Diamond Daisy Chain Cordlette Harnesses Belay device Ice Climbing A set of Black Diamond X-15 Ice Tools (one with hammer, one with adze) Two 17 cm Black Diamond Turbo ice screws Two 22 cm Black Diamond Turbo ice screws Abalakov (V-thread) ice anchor "hook" Two troll plastic ice tool holsters for harness Aid and other gear One pair of Petzl right and left handed Ascension ascenders One Black Diamond aid hook with 5 inch sewn sling One REI pulley (1 inch diameter wheel) One Kong safety figure 8 belay and rappel device I am going to allow those within driving distance of Stockton to get the first opportunity to make me an offer on this gear. I will have it at a garage sale on Saturday, May 27, 2006 for inspection by anyone interested in purchasing it. The sale will start in earnest by 8:00 a.m. The address of the garage sale is 1904 W. Benjamin Holt Drive, Stockton, CA 95207. This is not my address, so please don't bother the occupants before May 27--they don't own the gear. If you are not within driving distance of Stockton, you're still in luck! What I don’t sell at the garage sale (which will probably be most of the gear) will be put up for auction on eBay. Send me your email address, if you’re interested, and I will email you back with a link to any eBay auction of these items. For those of you not able to see the items in person, I posted pictures and other information about my gear to a website. The web address is: http://www.geocities.com/williampleasance@sbcglobal.net/ClimbingGearhome.html?200623 Feel free to email me with any of your questions. This could be great opportunity to pick up some gear at a bargain price. Please see my website for more information. And remember to send me your email address if you want to be notified of any eBay auction. If you know anyone else in the greater Stockton area who climbs, please make them aware of this offer. W. David Pleasance williampleasance@sbcglobal.net Stockton, CA

Hey man, why are you selling your gear? It doesn't sound like you want to at all. ~Stoney
