I did it!! I have been climbing for 3 and 1/2 months and I finally climbed my first 5.15. It is great, I can only climb once a week and every week I can see my improvements. I still can't boulder anything past a V20+, but I don't boulder much.

Yeah...you all should quit while you're in your prime. Go out looking good, not like one of those old person climbers that does those really tall walls with all that metaly stuff and talks about those worthless cordellets and slidding x's, serious who needs those? If you just bolt everything you don't have to worry. spoort climbing is sooooo much more hardcore because you're closer to the ground, so it'll hurt more when you fall. Also it lets your soul be freee because you don't have to carry anything up...except a stick clip and a few draws...unless you decided to give the route a run through as you were rapping down on toprope hanging draws. free the mind man, damn you all for climbing and runing the sport and eating meat ME ME ME ME.....what the .....where am i? im so scared...
JUST KIDDING, I was bored like the OP. disregard all those ethics shots, because I don't really care. And if you don't eat meat and have some moral/ethical/medical whatever reason, I don't have a problem with that, just seemed to kinda follow the hippy deal.

well I thought this community was about helping other climbers and an overall good time. but apparently I was wrong. I will never be visiting this site again. Have a good life, enjoy taunting people on the interweb. Mad props

Besides, a real troll could climb harder than you any day, I don't know why you have to publish your accomplishments to the whole climbing world. Like anyone cares about some guy that just climbed a 5.15.

Kid, I'm from the same town as you... exactly where did you climb this 5.15? There isn't a 5.15 anywhere in Maryland that I'm aware of.
PS - Earthtreks does NOT count

If you don't know where the 5.15's are, then you're just not strong enough to climb 'em.

There r 5.15s everywhere if you know where to look for them! U just have 2 be super strong like me. LOL! Ive been climbing for 4 months and by now I can pretty much climb everything. (I know, I know - I blew out both my elbows and shoulders and most of my pulleys so I had to sit down for like, a week! LOL!) But I'm better now and the other day I FA what is totally like a V18 slab!
The only thing I don't like is all those metal thingies sticking out of the rock. If people would just set up top ropes then they wouldn't have to use those little clippy things. LOL!

Ha. Slab climbers are weak. My training routes use dimes glued to the ceiling.

Now did you do it with your climbing shoes, or with your boots or Tevas. If it was with a pair of climbing shoes on, I saw a bunch of 6yr olds doing that on their first day out.

phhht. dimes have serrated edges, that's fucking cheating. when I pump out, I use Sakajawea dollars for rest ledges.

How come there is an influx of rc.comers that couldn't detect sarcasm if it hit em in the face?
I thought I was the only one who trained on post it notes!!! Although I've been experimenting with breaking down the molecular structure of glass enough for my tevas to stick to it.
