Arno,

Do you have any plans in 2006 for offering clinics in the Northwest, specifically WA. The folks I climb with in Central WA would be stoked to attend a clinic if you offered one in the NW. Is there a number of participants that you need registered to make it financially feasible. If so, how many? The climbing season in Central WA is February-November and features many 5.6-5.9 trad. routes, 100's of 5.10-5.11 trad. routes, even more 5.10-5.12d sport routes, as well as mixed multipitch routes. Feel free to email me if this forum isn't the place to reply. Thanks a lot for writing a book that has helped my friends and I become more focused climbers.

I see that you have 2 days scheduled on the clinics. Are they 2 day clinics or are they a one day clinic that can be attended on either day?

I hate making a trip to the New without doing any climbing.

Do you have a rough idea for how long you might be expecting these clinics to take each day?

Thanks

Hi Eric,
Yes, I'm planning a tour to the Northwest next year, to include Squamish. I'll probably do the clinics in climbing gyms that want to host me. It's a cleaner and more affordable way to teach. Email me at warriorsway@mindspring.com and I'll keep you informed when I'm in the area.
best, arno

I just took the class over the Sept 17-18th weekend in Foster Falls, TN. I highly recommend the class. I had specific objectives and was able to achieve them and so much more. I think every person in the class go something out of it, although we were working on different things.

It was a great class, Arno was patient and caring. He took the time to tailor our exercises for each of our needs.

Great job Arno...

Hi Arno -

happiegrrl's profile says she's in NY. I am also looking forward to taking your course someday and I am in MA. I would be willing to travel anywhere in NH, NY, MA, CT to attend a clinic and would be happy to get the word out about anything you plan to schedule.

Hi Wonderwoman

Just got back from the DC/VA trip. It was short but jammed packed. Taught 8 clinics with 40 students total. Nice to see the interest.
I will stay in touch about a NE tour.
Be well,

NE Tour Possibility

I'm currently working out detail for attending the American Alpine Club annual meeting being held near North Conway, NH and thought this would be a great opportunity to teach some ww clinics at local gyms in the NE. AAC meeting dates are Feb 10-12. I was planning to schedule some clinics before and after this meeting.

If you know any gyms in MA, CT, NH, VT, NY, etc that may be interested, please let them know my interest in teaching and to contact me. I'll also be contacting gyms I'm aware of.

Thanks, arno

Since your going to Squamish would you consider coming out to Banff or Canmore? Lots of climbers here. Banff is home to the Banff Mountain film festival...but i'm sure you already know that :D
