looking for something real cheap to rig my slackline setup with. I only need about 30 or 40 feet of anything around 10mm static line, although 50 or 60 feet would be nice to have.

You don't need anything near that big for your slackline unless you're setting up a high line that needs to be really tight. Cordelette will work just fine or you can even use webbing just like the line itself. (I'm assuming you're going to use it to go around the trees or rocks)

Hi. I saw your post and I think I might have some rope for you. I just bought a spool of 11mm because I needed a haul line, but the spools come in 100m lengths and I only needed 70m, so I have a nice shiny new 30m length for you if you want it. 30m is about 100ft. 45 bucks perhaps? Shoot me an email at cjw251@nyu.edu and we hopefully we can figure something out. Thanks! -Chris

go to adventureschool.com and click on the rock shop header...dave sells 3/8 inch static that is 1/2 the price of 11mm, 3/4 the strength (i.e. 6k pounds), and 1/3 the weight
