July 22 The Rock Club is opening and I am eager to find women to climb with me there. Yesterday I watched in awe as two of the country's best climbers sent the 5.13s, then climbed my lowly 5.8s--I need to DO, not watch, but I need partners!
It opens July 22 and there will be free climbing all day. If you check out the website at www.climbrockclub.com, click on the 'Send the States' link on the upper right. Its a cross country climbing road trip that two of the staffers and their friend are on-they'll be back to work at TRC in August. TRC and Urban Climber are both sponsers.
Free climbing, air-conditioning, hard to go wrong there! I will be there probably all day; if you are near New Rochelle and you want a partner, stop in and ask for me. Or find each other-it would be a great place for all those women looking for female partners to connect.
