Hi... I will be moving to New Jersey and working at Rutgers starting this September and want to meet some climbers in the area who would be willing to show me around the various crags of NJ/NY (I have heard good things about the Gunks). I am not a rope gun, don't own a rope or a rack, have never led trad, and don't climb 5.10 or higher, but I do have a couple of years experience toproping, setting anchors, and following on multi-pitch climbs. So, if anyone is willing to meet up with this moderate but passionate climber or know the best way to find partners at Rutgers, I'd really appreciate it. Reply or PM, please. Cheers, sync

sync Rutgers has a climbing wall. Not too big from what I remember reading, but they do have one. And,where there's a wall, there's climbers.Do some searches. You might hear from me again,as I live in Jersey and sometimes go trolling for partners. Jim

Yeah, I was certainly going to check out the gym wall at Rutgers, but I thought I might get a head start on the process by seeing if anyone here lives in that area. Thanks...

PM Sent, but I'm in Princeton, half an hour to your south. At the very least we can meet up for Gunks trips now and again.
