I wish Rebecca well, with a full and speedy recovery. I always feel it when pepole a read about get hurt. I realize that I don't actually know these people, but I feel there is a connection. I've clicked on her profile many times and wish I could have done the climbs she has.

I'm sure any of us that have been involved with serious falls know how hard it can be to have patience durring the recovery time, but girl, listen to what your docs tell you and know that we're all looking forward to you getting back on this horse. My prayers for complete healing.

This is such bad news, when something happens to someone on rc.com, I feel like it's someone I know. I hope Rebecca recovers to climb again soon. JL

What a shocker! I was just reading Rebecca’s posts on ClimbEasternCanada about how great here Devel’s Rock trip was, and then I read this! I know Rebecca fairly well and I climbed with her more than once before she moved to Ontario. Rebecca, I have always admired you for being one of those people who make climbing a lifestyle rather than just a pastime. I only know a handful of women who are so committed. I suppose that this sort of setback can sometimes be part of that lifestyle, but so is fighting your way back to good health and getting back on the wall! These next few days are the crux, then it’s all 5.7 to the finish. Your too determined not to make it! I’m rooting for you, and so are all the rest of us here in Halifax. Teth Cleveland, Halifax, Nova Scotia

Hey grrl, I don't know you personally but I have enjoyed your posts immensely. They are very insightful and guaranteed to put a smile on my face. The climbs you lead have always amazed me. So sorry to hear of your accident. Here's best wishes and good thoughts for a speedy recovery from the 'crag mom' of the front range.
