Without further delineation of Ohio's problems with our outdoor passion.. I will continually add to this post of places that the Powers that Be would rather not see you climbing.. for various reasons. Talk to any Ranger, Botanist, or Board Member of the various Metroparks, Preserves, State Parks etc.. They (sic) generally would rather avoid climbing in Ohio.
Visit the ODNR to see the various flora that exist in our state that are generally not found elsewhere.. make your decisions regarding where to climb with some variance of discretion.
Please do not misunderstand me.. climbing access in Ohio is friggin' up against a wall.. and without rational diplomacy from both sides of the field, we're bound to lose more areas in the coming years than to gain more areas.
