I recently climbed Possibilites (5.9) of Juliet's balcony. it's great fun especially because one rope location provides tons of climbs. (up backslider-5.7 then continue up left stuff- mucho gusto) But i couldn't help but wondering if anyone else finds the steel stake to be a very odd crux?
There a 3/8" square steel shank driven in the crack, not as a piece of pro- and i used it for a pinch hold. Is that fair game? It was my first 5.9 so i hope it counts. (aembuster was next- F^c that climb! I really didn't like it. but anyways- yea- posibilities.
