I heard a nasty rumor that bolts on TT were smashed last fall. Any current information out there?

Matt,
Not a troll. Last fall when I was in the Valley, some folks mentioned some hangars smashed flat as well as others just plain gone. As I have limited time to climb, I really don't want to waste it on something that's torn up.

yeah, it was a troll started by some poster on Supertopo.com.

since that post no-one has confirmed any damage or removal to any bolts on the Trip. and the route gets done all the time. While I was on South Seas in june we saw three parties complete the Trip.

it was false information...hence the term "troll."

if someone who climbed the route could confirm that bolts were smashed/chopped, then I'd be the first to admit i was wrong, but on the contrary several parties have confirmed they were fine.
