You guys gotta see this one! This Ebay auction makes me..uhm..well..see for yourself   From the description:
In reply to: This is what you need if you want to become a real rock climber. There is tread everywhere so that you can get your feet to grab on to the tinniest little piece of rock. These are a slip on shoe, and a must. It could be a difference between life and death. and it sure beats having to deal with those damned laces and velcro!!!

These would definitely be the difference between life and death. You buy them, you wear them to climb, you die.

If they were'nt 3 sizes too small, I'd be half tempted to buy them purely for the hysterical factor. I'd carry a printout of the ebay page for when people asked me WTF?! I swear it would be totally worth it just to get a few laffs...

so thats why 5.15 is un-attained. All the climbing shoe companies went assbackwards with the whole sticky rubber fad, we just needed more tread, lots and lots of tread.

That is too funny. Somebody should make a book of crazy ebay climbing auctions. I could read it to my kids, and this crazy guy is trying to sell homemade cams, see the photo, etc...
