Hey all, I'm heading to the Gunks like a lot of others for the Labor Day weekend. I was hoping to hook up with a fun group of climbers to pull down with. I'll climb with people of all abilities, so no worries. The past few years that I've been at the Gunks for this holiday weekend hasn't been too crowded and I'm hoping for the same this year. If you want to hook up or have any questions for me drop me a line. Thanks

I'll be there this Saturday with a small group. We'd love to meet up with other climbers if for no other reason than to say hello and make new friends. We're always up for a drink or food after so if you would like, send me a message :D

Hopefully, the lack of responses will keep the crowds thin like previous years so you can climb your butt off  Have fun labor day weekend and I hope you get some responses.

I'll probably be looking for a partner to climb with for that weekend. I should know exactly what my plans are in a day or so. It'd be great to meet some other climbers and have a nice relaxing weekend...

Hi All, I am looking for a second/partner for Saturday, August 26. I can be there as early as 8am or later if you prefer. I would like to hit some of the 5.6 ***s like Shockley's or a 5.7 like CCD. I am happy to follow on harder stuff, up to 5.9+. I would love to lead the easier pitches on CCD and follow up CCD direct. About me: I have been climbing Trad consistently for the last year, including trips to Boulder Canyon(Bastille Crack 5.8), Gunks (Madam G, High-E, Others), Cathedral/Whitehorse(Toe Crack, Others). I do a lot of climbing around CT, comfortably leading 5.7 and 5.8 here (lead Carey Corner at Ragged if that means anything to anyone). TR 5.10+ here in CT. I recently completed a TRSM course and will be completing my WFA in September to validate my AMGA certification. I work part-time for the YMCA as an indoor rock climbing instructor. For equipment I have a full rack including stoppers 1-13, Rockcentrics, metolius TCUs, 4CUs, Larger cams to BD-6 (lost my damn BD-5 on Bastille) I have a dedicated Lead rope with 0 falls. Feel free to email me at chris&at&percious.com, or leave a message here where we can meet up. -percious www.percious.com

Hi All, I'm also hunting for a partner for that weekend. It's my first trip to the gunks. I have rope and rack and car. But I'm lacking guide book and partner. I'm currently in Scranton, PA. Is there a place to meet other climber in the gunks? John

You can hook up with me and I'de be happy to show you around. I lead into the 12's on gear, although I'll have another newbie with me, so I shouldn't be pushing that much. I don't know what everyone wants to get on, but I just want to have some fun and meet more people. I have enough gear and ropes to open a store so drop me a line and we'll work it out.

I am a noob when it comes to Trad, but am trying to get into it so if you don't mind I'll go. I redpoint in the 11c range, and boulder V7/8 so the technique part is no prob, but I am lacking in the know how. If thats all good, drop me a line. Otherwise, have a good time. Peace
