didn't the holy norman sniper post one in the last couple of months showing how to properly integrate a nalgene bottle into an anchor? I think so... maybe it was angry ...I don't remember, but it looked BOMBER!

In reply to: maybe it was angry Yep. The original has been removed. I would too after the amount of flack he got form people who didn't know why he did it. Pity, it was a great example of climbing ingenuity and desperate gear placement.

I'd like to see a few pics of bomber hex placements. I picked up a couple of big ones to try out (BD #7, 8, 9) and I haven't found a single place where they actually seem like good placements.

All thin gear in a manky section of rock at the trapps, i put in my own gear to belay the third. the leader was a big guy and we were hanging so i decided to back it up...http://
