That sounds fun but i just busted my knee when i flew off my dirt bike last sunday and i don't think im much up for climbing, besides i probably would never make it out of the canyon...that hike suks

Couldn't help overhearing!
To my knowledge, Gumby Wall is still off limits, as is everything east of the Catalina Hwy.
You might double check with the FS or consider another destination. A friend of mine was run out of there by rangers a few weeks ago.

Hence "the weekend" at Jack's.
"The weekend" typically constists of "Saturday" and Sunday".
Some even consider Friday evening part of "the weekend", but that is typically specified.
Which I didn't in this thread, but I am now.
But regardless of whether the "Friday factor" comes into play, Sunday is most definitely included.
So, yes. We will be there on Sunday.
and Saturday
and part of Friday, but not all.

See, earlier cragchica and I were considering going to SoCal this weekend to climb with addiroids et. al. but then 'chica changed her mind. She said something about climbing club activities that we should get going this weekend instead, but I was kinda hoping that secretly she was just too cheap for the Greyhound fare , and maybe her opinion would be malleable to an in-state weekend climbing fiesta. Alas, not. I would be a rat to leave her hanging in climbing club leadership duties, so off to newbie-land for us, where we'll teach people how to tie figure-8s and convince them that they won't die if they fall on a TR
So, uh, yeah... no Hillary @ Jacks *sniff*
Some other time... next time Gadget, next time!
