Do you have a technical climbing question? Are you not quite sure what shoes to buy? Need some beta? Just ask Jim. He's learned from the best. Well, Mark Synott anyway. Yea, those doods hang. He'll answer all your climbing questions. I'll start it off. Hey Jim, I was wondering when on a big wall do you haul your poop to the top or do you just let the mud falcons fly? Your truly, Mr. Monkeytails

Sacrilege! In your attempt to belittle Jim you have created a spin off of 'ask the noob'! While subtle is a pretty understanding guy I pity you for the retribution you are going to receive. I foresee you getting pelted with ham sandwiches from chunky trad climbers. That or Jim will have another aneurism. Either way this could be fun.

Well, I have more posts than everybody in this thread put together ('cept for Thomas) and hell yeah I need to get out more. Am I a dork? areyoumydude has the answer, tonight at 10 (actually, I think 'dude is pretty funny sometimes, and as for Jim and MadRock... which I am certain this thread is about... whatever... that is SOOOOO last year )

Excuse me, for I now need to go lift heavy objects and wrestle a large hairy beast of some sort in an attempt to regain my manhood. That and not cry after you laughed at me. -sniffle-

If you have a BFT at the top of the cliff, what is the best method to fix a line to rap to the base? I must be a Noob, as I have the fewest posts!

Well, since the Ask the n00b thread already exists, this thread is redundant. It is, however, pretty funny. Curt

Jim, when climbing in vegas what should I do with my .44Mag desert eagle? the gun is mighty heavy on those long hot climbs but I really feel naked without it when I am out in the desert with Joe Pechi and all those other scary mafia dudes

Well, I guess I'll let you guys run with this thread. I know I'd be laughing a little harder if it wasn't directed towards me, too. If you have an issue with something I said, or believe it to be out of context, your welcome to PM me and ask about it. Other than that, enjoy the trash-talking. Jim

You guys are so mean. Jim is a very nice guy and always ready to help. He is always ready to contribute on any tech subject at hand. Now he will go shy and we will loose source of certified info we were getting with out certification sweat Let me cover your very special questions that bother you so much: 1. Hide that poop in the off width, easy and harmless! 2. Quick links and chains are no good anyway. Leave your old biners instead so you have a reason to buy new ones. 3. BFT at top is better left along (have you seen Al Gore movie yet?) Back up your truck and tie into tow loop, redneck style. And don’t bother to PM me, please

I couldn't agree more...the chains might have micro-fractures...wouldn't trust em at all. Two locking "leaver" biners and a complicated equalizing setup would be best....or so I've read. Jim

Dear Jim Davis, Will Odie ever get even with Garfield, or is he relegated to playing the dunce and underdog (bad pun) for all of eternity? And what is up with Nermal? I thought it was a girl cat for years, but in the CGI movie it was voiced by a male.
