I've had two jackets from Moonstone with finicky zippers. I wish there was some way to get their warranties honored...

Too bad about Moonstone - I have some of their products and am happy with them. WARRANTY - if Columbia bought them then they should honor the warranties. It really depends on the acquisition agreement - assets only, etc. However there are specific laws that address it and somewhere, someone is liable for all the products sold under warranty. Good luck!

You should be able to get you zipper replaced at most tailors for 15-20 bucks. Tho, you might need to search a bit for one that can get the right color, type.

Moonstone was previously owned by Pacific Trail (who also owned a number of other companies). Columbia bought pacific trail, and moonstone was just a very small part of the deal. They may develop the brand again in the future, but for now it is on the backburner.
