I've climbed in AF in january before. It wasn't pleasant but you can do it. I would almost get warm at the top of a climb only to be completely cold again belaying.

South facing walls are: Billboard, Hideaway, Escape buttress.

You are better off bundling up and buying ice tools. I hear there is wicked Ice climbing in provo canyon.
