Hi - given the (relatively) cold conditions that we've been having, I was hoping that ice climbs in the central/western Virginia or NC areas may have formed. I'm thinking of places like Crabtree Falls, New River Gorge, Asheville-area, etc. Has anyone been out to climb or check on conditions in any of these areas? If not, have the temps really been low enough for long enough to make a trip likely to be worthwhile (i.e., where we actually find ice to climb)? Thanks, Chris
