Title pretty much says it all. What is the best/some good times to do a bouldering trip to the Castle Hill Basin of New Zealand?

Any time! Summer will give you warmer temperatures and slightly drier weather, which is good for camping but bad for friction. Winter is obviously colder, and camping in the snow (if that is in fact what you want to do...) can be a bit rough, but the friction is way better. A day like this morning would be perfect, cool and crisp but above freezing and sunny. Late autumn like...

Here is the Castle Hill webcam. If you see blue sky and the temp is below 20C, get your butt down here! Did I mention friction? Trust me, you will want it, there are no holds, so it is about the only way up many of the problems
