Actually it went like this:
A certain user on this website lives with me and this certain roommate really wanted a cat. "But Kristin," he would whine in a nasally voice, "The Fury is going to eaaaaaaaaat a cat."
Pish posh, sez I.
This goes on for months.
And then one, lazy monday afternoon in the summer, I am lying on the couch, front door open, enjoying the breeze and reading a book. "Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow."
Hmm, think I, someone got a kitten and it is PISSED.
"Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow."
My roommate gets up, goes to the door and looks out. What should we see but this tiny little black kitten walking down the driveway of our flag lot. It makes a b-line for us when it see us. Purring, purring.
It's covered with fleas and blood and worms. Well, being the weird dog lady I am, I have wormer and flea stuff, and we give it a bath in the sink until all the icky blood is washed off. Wet, yet happy cat.
We find out "it" is a "she." I name her "Ittle." End of story. Half a cat. My roommate thinks she is his, but I tend to be the one to make sure the big stuff is taken care of.

bruiser. he is a kelpy. australian working dog. however he has no gainfull employment at the moment. but does keep the rabbit population under control around the house though.
Bubbles - bruiser's mom, unemployed as well
