Along the same lines, I am heading out to Banks Lake this summer and would like to pick up a guide book. Should I buy the Rick La Belle "Rock Climbs of Central Washington" or just get a copy of "Weekend Rock"? I would appreciate any suggestions. Michael

I would say Rick's guide is up-to-date as far as I know. Very thorough for all the great climbs at Banks Lake.
