I'd like to buy a stiff telescoping pole which I could use as a boom for a video camera, and I know that many climbing videographers have experience working with such setups. I'm happy to jerry rig the camera onto the end of the pole; so any nature of pole would work. Anyone found a good brand to work with? Some of the features I'm looking for are: -12 to 16 feet in length -stiff/able to support a 4-5 lb. camera -around 3 feet in length when compressed (so it could fit in my kayak) thanks for the help, Chris

Look for a window cleaner or painters pole.
