im going to visit some friends who live in gilroy california.is there any bouldering oppurtunities near gilroy at all?Should i bring a crash pad?

like the other person said, lots of garlic and no rock. Plus it is hot. In general I dislike gilroy. However Pinnacles National Monument is just down the road which offers some good climbing but there isnt much bouldering to speak of. Still worth a trip if you have the time.

the nearest place to gilroy to boulder is castle rock state park. its a drive but if your in gilroy for a while its worth it.
