I need to remind the users of this forum that nekkid pics need to be linked only and not embedded in posts as images. Please also ensure that the NSFW tag is used.
I hope you all understand that this will help keep this site available to as many people as possible and particularly for all you lazy bums who whould be working in your cubicles. Now get back to work.

Well the mods have been discussing just where to draw the line on what should and should not be linked. My suggestion is that if you don't particularly want your work collegues peering over your shoulder and seeing what you are looking at then that photo should be linked.
I am not going to go down the road of being the arbiter of all things good taste. I am not going to say whether one nip or two is acceptable. You guys need to find the balance in what would be apropriate to be viewed in the average cube farm. It really is over to you.
I will however have no hesitation in removing pics that may be either borderline or non acceptable if they are embedded.
If I come across hard core porn even if it is linked then expect to have action taken against you. Sorry to have to put it that way, just trying to be very clear about an area that has innumerable shades of grey.
I think we are all mature enough to know where the line is on these issues. I am certainly not wanting to be the censor of rc.com either. That role is up to each and every individual user, please self censor.

The thing is would you want the boss to be leaning over your shoulder when you oepened those pics. How about a ten year old opening up a thread in here in front of his teacher while he was researching rock climbing.
If in doubt link it.
If you doubt that the link will cover it because it is far too much like porn then don't link it at all.
Hope this clears things up.
You will never get a straight answer from any of us in management as to what exactly constitutes acceptable images here on rc.com. It is always far too subjective to be assigning the letter of the law to this discussion. Want to sail too close to the wind then expect to be banned for a few weeks then as we have zero tolerance for those trying to push the boundaries. We would far rather the users self censor their own pics by keeping things as simple as possible and merely following the guidelines.
When in doubt, don't, otherwise link it, or not whatever the case may be. Up to you guys to get it right and not for us to be playing the baddy censor guys. We'll merely react to those pushing the envelope, wanna try, we'll always win in the end. I wish it were not so but someone has to do it. Best it be a self regulating thing though as I hate to be the baddy. Hate it with a passion but I will do it.
I still ascribe to the grassroots level of users self regulating this website but on occasion we do have to act to keep things clean and simple.
Do remember to put the NSFW tag on pics that may or may not comply with the above, at least it will give a warning to those not wanting to have a surprise on their screen. I have noticed more than one user complaining that others are forgetting to place the NSFW on doubtful pic posts.
Do the right thing eh. I'll leave it to your own conscience to work out whether you need the NSFW tag on the above pics clausti, you are a big girl now and should be able to work it out eh. Feel free to discuss if you are not able to work it out.
