So, I'm planning to be in the Phoenix area either July 14th or July 21st (leaning more towards the 21st). Anybody down for a day of some climbing at Petit Verdon, or maybe Mt. Lemmon or whatever isn't completely burned to a crisp? I'm coming off of injury (wary of tweaky pockets, etc.) but I have been consistent in the 10-11 level for sport, and 5.9 trad. I appreciate it. In return, if you need a place to crash I've got a couch bed in CA just for you. Yosemite isn't too far away... Zach

I'm heading to Phoenix at the end of September (20th/21st) for a work conference and am hoping to climb whilst I'm there. Dates set aside for climbing are somewhat flexible (before or after the conference) as I haven't booked my flight. My partner may or may not join me so I'm looking for suggestions on guides/where to climb. I've been climbing for a few years, new-ish leader (sport 5.9/trad 5.7 depending on the day).

Hi, I'll be in Tucson this weekend. Can climb Saturday August 18 the full day, or half days either the 17th or 18th. I climbed a lot here in the early 80s and hope to climb something now. I will have harness and shoes, can lead sport, but will climb anything. You can reach me at 412 736 0896 Doyle

How far us Tuscon from Phoenix - forgive me I am not from the area - but will also be there during your time as well as Gwyns' shall I rent a car and meet us all up? I am no leader (yet), I am happy to belay and clean if I can get a 5.4-5.9 climb in. PM me here if you wish either of you. I am flexible. MM

Hey dudes (dudesses), I had an incredible day Saturday, and want to thank all those who took the time to write and call, trying to help me hook up. Obviously it worked, and I'm sad I have to fly home today. Can anyone say, "road trip!"

Hey I might be interested...I'm trying to get out this weekend as well My limit for leading is probably 5.10 sport, but I could follow 5.11. I've been climbing for 8+ years, worked as a guide. I'm safe. Live in Phoenix Aaron 503-577-5339 |

Haven't been about on rc.com much lately so missed any responses to my post (and no email alerts came my way). I'm in Phoenix from Wednesday to Sunday evening but really only have the Saturday and Sunday free (22/23 Sep). I'll have harness and shoes but am leaving the rest at home (well, ok, I'll bring my chalkbag so I can dip my fingertips in chalk to then wipe on my clothing). I'll be solo this trip as well. Hoping I can hook up with some people. Mountainman: glad you had a great time, our trips to Phoenix were out by a month. :) Cheers! gwyn
