Is the City of Rocks worth going to if you don't have much trad gear? Are there any decent areas for sport climbing? I know there are some rountes, but does anyone know of an area with several good routes nearby? Thanks!

There are a ton of sport crags at the city:
West face of Window Rock, East face parkinglot rock, west face of bath rock (roller coaster wall), the drilling fields, and many many more.
Get the Bingham guide and you will see several routes that only require quickdraws.
