I posted the original directions etc...and I was wondering if this climbing area has anything to it or not?

careful using wire brushes on OHIO rock--- it has a tendancy towards carving rather than cleaning. any update on access?

I bouldered around in the late 70's early 80's here. How about Hemlock Falls? Any activity there any more? By far the best potential in the Mansfield area with quite a few good lines.
This is a roof crack photo circa 1980. (photo upload)

I climbed there. There's alot of moss and I had alot of problems, but Im sure my low experience level played a part in that.

I drove over to the Malabar rocks today. It was rainy so I didn't actually do any climbing, but it looks like there's possibility for a few good lines, including a couple overhangs that look to be in the V4 - v7 area.

However, there were a few No Trespassing signs in the area; it's definitely all on private property. I'll be back home again in a few weeks and plan on talking to people in the area and try to find out who owns the land.

Do you know if people have scouted the State Park yet?

Most of the rock on the State Park land is garbage-- there's a couple lines that have potential but will take LOADS of cleaning.
