Longest line you've successfully walked?

Since I recently got my 125' line up and have now successfully walked it several times (although the tree branch at one end makes turning around quite difficult), I'm curious what everybody else has walked thus far. Can be high or low, doesn't matter.

How tall are those stumps? That line looks low for a 130'. It must be super TIGHT. How did you pull it?

The stumps (actually logs) - one is 34" or so, one is 40" or so. There is some subtle topography I used to my advantage - logs were placed on high spots, center of line in a low spot. Result is that the midpoint of the line is about chest high. Line is a double line, tightened with ratchets still left in the system. I use ratchets mainly due to my lack of knowlegde and experience with other systems. Yes it is pretty tight (highline tight?). It made me a better slacker for sure, though maybe not a better person. I personally do not like lines much more than chest height as I am an old man with residual nagging (foot) injuries. I already have the buried anchor installed to extend this line to about 170', and I have enough room to go over 200' if I choose, though I may not like the line height I will have to go to in order to achieve that.

Is the tape on there because its also for a highline, or do you actually put in a backup for that line? For lines that low, I'm not too concerned about the consequences of line failure, since I'll be so low to the ground anyway.

I've done a 175' at the park.

506'? is that a typo... or is that a record?

No, it's not a typo! Damian very nearly onsighted 506, falling more than 3/4 of the way along and then chongo mounting back on! To my knowledge it's the World Record/

My personal best was about 250' - I want to walk 330' (i.e. 100m soon!)

You boys are taking it to another level.

Damian, I've got some killer projects for you in Moab. Let me know when you can come out.

As Jon said, no, it's not a typo. It is the record as far as we know. For perspective, there are people standing under the white tarp at the end of the line.
