So broke my ankle this week. Want to add a cupholder on my crutches but don't want to pay a lot of money. thinking some sort of hoseclamp type thing. Anyone done something like that and have suggestions?

hysterical. try the foam koosi on a string around the neck. This should work for coffee and beer equally well.

Anyone done something like that and have suggestions? Duct tape one of those add-on car cup holders to one side, or get two small hose clamps and a bike water bottle holder. Someone I know wedged a roll of duct tape between the uprights, below the handholds. The center was just right for his coffee cup. Good luck and heal well! Kathy

You could get an aftermarket bike bottle holder for $5 or so. Duct tape or screw the thing on and you are good to go.

While I was stuck on crutches I would just make my husband carry stuff around for me. But he does make for a very expensive cup holder .
