I am in the process of finalizing my article on Ice Climbing 101 and it is sort of frustrating because I don't get to see my finished product until a moderator OKs it. I want to add a bunch more photos that I took yesterday and I will be adding a few more next week to finish it out.

It would be VERY useful to the author if we could see a preview of the article before we submit it. That way, we don't waste the moderator's time with articles that don't look good after we post them.

thanks,
chris

Yes, I fully uinderstand. Until we implement such "preview" functionality, rest assured that I am currently the only one reviewing and approving articles, and I'm checking every article being submitted. Usually I also spend time to edit the layout before I approve it. The volume is not very high, so for now I don't mind doing it.

Thanks for you submission, and I look forward to the version with more pictures!

Thanks so much for all of your hard work. What I am going to do for now is to edit my article locally using html and then re-post it when I get all the pictures in there. I will probably have this done next week. In case anyone else is doing the same thing, the css file used to do formatting is here: http://www.rockclimbing.com/css/global_luna.css

Now, what do you have to do to get your article featured? :-P Maybe if I write about ice climbing 5 years ago...

ha!

Just post the new version with the many pics and I'll put you on the front page! Smile

I have a bunch of pics, but havn't the time to resize/put them in. Perhaps I can email you them and as editor you would put them in for me?

If not, i'll get around to it, hopefully before xmas.

You're welcome to e-mail them to me (ddt at rockclimbing.com), together with rough instructions on where you want them in the article.

Cheers,
DDT
