Hi everyone. I just wanted to see if this works. Just got here and can't wait to make lots of new friends and learn all about climbing. I'll have plenty of questions for sure - but first I have to think about what I want to say.

Lois is a gimmick account. Someone is trying to impersonate LEB from SuperTopo and doing a poor job of it.

Hey! What'd I do? Just because I suggested a Lois name doesn't mean I'm trolling. For all we know, the OP could be the Lois I was talking about over in that other thread.
Or maybe just an innocent n00b, who happens to bear an uncanny resemblance, word use-wise, to that Lois. Stranger things have been known to happen!
So don't go cutting off that poor person just because you've assumed it's me trolling. Jeez! I mean - how they gonna learn to climb if they can't get valid information from the premier climbing si.... Well, scratch that last comment, but I'm sure you know what I mean.

2) I can see by your IP history that you and "Lois" are the only ones that post from yours? Still feel like denying? Suck it up and admit defeat. I know it's a stretch, but let's try with minimal drama.

Oh jeez.... Bragged? I think it's not me who's being dramatic. Reading comprehension is a skill, I know, but I don't think you can find an example of me saying in any way that I created Lois. I said "someone SHOULD....". That's hardly the same thing. The most I am admitting is to poor impulse control, dammit!
And okay, that I'm pretty inept at the trawling thing.
But Lois DID snag JZ right off the bat, and that ought to count for something.

Guilty, with an excuse. I don't follow the drama Supertopo closely enough to know what all this Lois/LEB stuff is all about. That site is so boring I don't know how you can take it. The last interesting thing that happened there is when Batten hooked Largo with the ancient bolts-on-Double-Cross troll. And that was like three years ago.
