Hey all, This upcoming september, i'm planning on being on the road for the whole month. I'm from the northwest but i'm willing to travel. I'm debating over squamish, the valley, joe's and maybe even smith. any suggestions? Thanks, Andy

man oh man. your are about to live my dream brother. are you mainly bouldering or sporting it?. a month is a long time, but a short time. Are you wanting to go to one area, or a few? if your traveling to multiple areas, you probably want to limit it to 4 at the max: a week in each area. have you been to these places before? i can tell you have no desire to cross the country on this because of the time. so, my only advice is SQUAMISH man. its the one of the meccas of climbing in north america. thats all i have. cheers.

I'd leave Squish out of the picture if you're from the NW--too local! Try someplace new like City of Rocks/Castle Rocks, SLC, Moab, The Creek.

If you've never been to Moab, it is an amazing palce. Climbing + lots of other stuff to see/do. Are you going to be living in a car/van/camping? Do you have a blog we can follow? I would love to take off for a month and climb...hell I could take off a year!

City of Rocks is also a beautiful destination but I would check historical temps to see when's the best time to go. There seems to be two or three 'shoulder months' in the year when it's best--not too hot, not too cold. And it seems to change pretty quickly (over two weeks).
