however, I'm currently accepted into one grad school program and hoping for another; so as of the end of February, I will be a unemployed dirtbag/aspiring student.

My day job is as a general practice attorney in my own practice. After hours, I am a (mostly freelance) writer and editor for legal and climbing-related pubs. I also co-own a technology consulting company with dear hubby.

Until last spring I was a community college mathematics instructor. Now I'm trying to grind out a PhD in statistics.

PhD in Polymer Chemistry, and develop medical devices (just trying to help make better tools to help them plumbers keep your pipes clean). Currently working for Gore, with perks of cheap Gore-tex and living in Flag

Hello, i'm new here ... I work on Telecom towers (cell towers),mostly in the US but have worked in Canada and Mexico, and soon, either Africa or India. I also rock climb from time to time in Arizona or New Mexico.

i joined so I can keep up to date with the new gear since a lot of rock climbing gear can be used in tower work. I use a Petzl Navajo harness,Petzl & Black Diamond runners,Black Diamond 'biner's, 10mm rope, Petzl Gri Gri, Petzl ascenders, figure 8's, Petzl helmets for work. Plus we use a lot of knots, the bowline seems to be the most popular....

working in Texas at 300' (guyed tower)

northern Arkansas (self support tower)

a 1200' tower (guyed tower) we climbed in Missouri

a tower on the bridge over the Ponchatrain, north of New Orleans

Louisiana (a monopole tower)
